Concord Law Students

Concord attracts highly motivated students. For some, law school has been a lifelong goal that was put on hold due to work or family obligations. Others see that a legal education has become essential in their current employment or will contribute to their future success. Students with less work experience see Concord as the vehicle to a new career, while those with substantial résumés plan for a second career in a rewarding new direction.

The diversity of demographics and professions adds a vibrancy to the classroom and to the learning experience at Concord. What unites the student population is a commitment to their legal education and to the community as a whole.

A snapshot of the student body demonstrates the accessibility of the program:

  • Students reside in all 50 U.S. states and a number of foreign countries.
  • The average age is 43.
  • Forty percent earned a graduate degree prior to beginning their legal education.
  • Graduating in the 2009 classes, 259 (40%) had earned graduate degrees including 7 PhDs, 15 MDs, many MBAs and Masters, and a VMD.
