You will find a vibrant, interesting, and active student body at Concord. Our online environment not only makes legal education accessible, it also makes students easily accessible to one another. Concord students meet each other in classrooms, chatrooms, message boards, over instant messaging and email, and even form in-person study groups. They develop the professional networks and form lasting friendships that are an important part of a law school experience.
There is activity both “on-campus” and “off-campus.” The Concord platform includes features such as the “Student Roster” function, which encourages students to post photos, profiles, and contact information. Students use this resource to find study group partners, individuals with similar interests or backgrounds, and those in their geographic area. The official student groups are housed on the site, as are the community bulletin board and student lounge.
Yet, much of student life takes place outside of Concord’s virtual halls. Students get together in-person - at Concord events and elsewhere. They use Yahoo groups to form discussion and study groups. Instant messaging keeps many in constant communication and a variety of other technologies support a student population with a strong commitment to and enthusiasm for their legal education.
Students often say that they get to know their Concord colleagues better than they ever knew classmates in their prior classroom-based educational experiences.
